Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 9, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the websites, web dashboard, desktop applications, and related offerings provided by DevOracle.com (“DevOracle”, “we”, “us”) (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Services

DevOracle provides real-time AI-assisted coaching tools intended to help candidates prepare for and participate in interviews. Features may include desktop software, a web account/dashboard, subscription or one-time purchase options, and documentation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of registration information and for safeguarding access to your email inbox and account credentials.

You may not share account credentials in a way that circumvents technical or contractual limits (for example, simultaneous use that exceeds your plan). We may suspend accounts that show signs of unauthorized use or abuse.

3. License

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, DevOracle grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the client software and access the dashboard solely for your own interview preparation and related personal use, in accordance with documentation we provide.

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except where mandatory law allows; (b) rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services; (c) attempt to bypass usage limits, billing, or security controls; (d) use the Services to develop a competing product or automated scraping of our systems; (e) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.

4. Acceptable use and compliance

You are solely responsible for how you use the Services—including compliance with laws, contracts, institutional policies, employer rules, academic integrity policies, and platform terms applicable to interviews you participate in. DevOracle does not provide legal advice. Some jurisdictions or organizations may restrict assistive technologies during assessments; it is your duty to understand and follow those rules.

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or harassing activity, or to transmit malicious code. We may investigate violations and cooperate with authorities when required.

5. AI outputs and no professional advice

The Services may generate suggestions using artificial intelligence. Outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular context. The Services do not constitute legal, career, HR, or professional advice. You should verify important facts and exercise independent judgment.

6. Fees, billing, and taxes

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor (currently Stripe). Prices, features, and taxes (including VAT where applicable) are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until canceled. One-time purchases (such as Interview Pass) are governed by the terms displayed at purchase.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in a separate refund policy on our website, fees are non-refundable once access is delivered—except where our published refund policy expressly allows (for example, requests within the stated window for first-time Pro charges). Chargebacks may result in suspension of access.

7. Intellectual property

DevOracle retains all right, title, and interest in the Services, software, branding, documentation, and underlying technology, except for open-source components under their respective licenses. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party products (videoconferencing platforms, operating systems, cloud providers). Your use of those products is governed solely by the third party’s terms. DevOracle is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or enforcement actions.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DEVORACLE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, COVER, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO DEVORACLE FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MINIMUM PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify DevOracle and its affiliates, officers, and employees against any third-party claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

12. Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, risk to security, or extended inactivity where allowed by law.

Upon termination, your license ends and you must cease using the software except to the extent copies are permitted for backup under mandatory law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 7–15) will survive.

13. Governing law and disputes

Unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Rome, Italy, will have exclusive jurisdiction for business users; consumers resident in the EEA or UK may also benefit from mandatory protections and venues under local law.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Services and supersede prior understandings on the same subject. Additional terms may apply to specific features (for example, beta programs) when we provide notice.
